“Okay”, Grant panted in pure surprise as he saw Shanoa flying in the air. “Didn’t expect that. Not sure what I was expecting though.” He blinked at the dark, slender figure above him, then he pressed his lips together and quickened his steps.
However, Grant knew that he couldn’t just run all the time - not that he would be out of breath soon -, because being in the air would give her a big advantage. Therefore, he jumped back up to the trees in order to block her sight of him and to confuse her by going up and down. Hopefully, that would work out, since he couldn’t simply grow wings on his back…
“What neat tricks you have, pretty Lady!”, Grant called as he was up on the branches once. “But I’m not letting myself get demotivated by that!” Though it would be nice to stay in the behind her just to have a look on her back… Yet, his pride was too big for that, so he kept running, jumping and rolling instead.
Shanoa looked down at the man, seeing him jumping up and down. What on earth is he planning? It doesn’t matter - a race is a race. She kept flying forward without stopping.
“I thank you for the compliment. You’re quite amazing yourself - I’ve never seen a person who can run that fast.” Shanoa replied and chuckled.
As she looked up ahead again she could see they got closer and closer to Wygol. She increased her flight speed and raised herself a bit higher in the air.

“Well, I suppose you have a point there…” Charlotte nodded. Some people used magic. But others used physical combat abilities, and more power to them for that.
“Still…I just hope Jonathan doesn’t start out all his lessons by saying something like ‘Hey guys! Look at what I can do!’. He’s done it before. And it never ends well.” She groaned.
Shanoa chuckled lightly and sat down on one of the chairs in front of Charlotte.
“Of course I’ll be there to supervise over him at the first few lessons, he seems like the kind of person who needs to be supervised at first for a while.” Shanoa replied and chuckled again, “But I’m sure he can be serious when needed.”
“….Right?”
